Purchased these for my gaited Rocky Mt Horse, we do occasional endurance rides. I haven't used these for an endurance event yet, but have used them for rides around the property (some gravel roads). My horse was able to gallop down the road without being sore! Plus, she still gaits just as well with them as she does barefoot, which was why I was drawn to them. The first size that was sent did not fit, but Scoot Boots was prompt with fixing the situation for me. I did have a little rub the last time I used them, so I need to double check to make sure it was just user error! I have already recommended them to others!
I was unable to put the boots on because the hoof is not to its ideal barefoot shape yet. The back of the hoof is a little too wide and will take several trim cycles to fix. I'm hoping to be able to try them on him after his next trim and will let you know
Love them, so does my horse. Easy to put on and keep clean.
