I love scoot boots because they work for different riding disciplines as well as protection from rocks on the trail. If the horse had had a short trim on his feet, the scoot boot offers comfort.

I was nervous to purchase because of the price and the risk of not getting the proper size, however, I emailed the measurement pictures and had scoot boot size my mare for me and I couldn't be happier! The boots fit great, and my horse is moving amazing in them! They are 100% worth it! My farrier is really happy with this option for the horse too as she really isn't able to have shoes on right now. I am optimistic we will never put shoes on it! Theses are outstanding!

I did a fit consult with Steph at scoot boots. The boot choice fit well but we’re a little tight in the back straps. I love the streamlined nature, lightness, ease of use, and look of the scoot boots, but it turned out I need to go glue ons with her, given her sole depth and soreness. I never rode her in them because I didn’t want to stretch them ( easy directions to do so) and then end up trying to sell them or return them.

My horse had very thin soles and was always short stepping and avoiding rocks. He had bruises and a few abscesses due to this. I didn’t want to shoe him and started having him wear his scoot boots daily. With recent X-rays we can see a growth in his sole! He has no rubs and they are holding up great! He walks with confidence and has a nice long stride. We have noticed his stance is more square and his muscle tone has changed throughout his entire body since he now isn’t in pain.
