The Scoot Anti Slip Shim is constructed of a specifically formulated non-slip material that is inserted into the front of the Scoot between the hoof and the boot.

Provide extra security when the hoof gets wet and slippery; and
Act as a filler providing a firmer fit when the hoof is in between sizes or the hoof has shrunk in dry conditions.

Shims can simply be removed when not needed.

Pack contains 2 shims.

XS	fits Scoot Boot size M00-0
S	fits Scoot Boot sizes 1-3
M	fits Scoot Boot sizes 4-6
L	fits Scoot Boot Size 7-11

They help with fit. But I am not a fan of pushing the horses toe back making for a longer break over at the toe. I would prefer a shim that slots in the sides. I love my scoot boots. In particular the enduros.

These shims are great to adjust the fit of your boots if your horse is just slightly off fit wise or at the start of a trim to fill in that extra space. Mine have never moved an inch.

Lost a shim

My friend and I both purchased shims to help prevent losing a boot after a trim. Mine are working fine but my firend lost a shim while out riding the 2nd time she used them. She is not impressed.
