Scootboot Trail Gaiters protect your horse's heel bulbs from any risk of rubbing or abrasion from sand and dirt. We recommend you to use them at all times when using your Scootboot Classics. They are particularly helpful for horses with sensitive skin. (provides protection for lower back of pastern only).

The Trail Gaiters include two pairs. 

Extra Small fits Classic size M1 to 00
Small fits Classic size 0 to size 2
Medium fits Classic size 3 to size 5
Large fits Classic size 6 to size 9
Extra Large fits Classic size 10 to size 11

Really Expensive

The boots are good and work well. But for the price tag for a bit of plastic is excessive. Will not buy again will just make do another way when plastic perishes again

Debris still gets in

I have found rubber arena bits and a small pebble in between the gaiter and my horses hoof. They aren't as reliable for this purpose. But they're great for assisting with donning and doffing them.

Over and beyond service

Despite being based in the UK, I contacted Scoot Boots in Australia when I purchased a pair of trail gaiters that had velcro which wasn't effective. I was absolutely delighted to receive 2 new pairs sent all the way from Australia....how incredible customer service is that! The new gaiters have velcro which is perfect and prevents my horse from getting rubs. Great boots, great company.

Velcro fastener doesn't hold and keeps slipping

Unfortunately not good quality in my opinion. The Velcro fastener doesn't hold and keeps slipping or coming undone. The last ones I ordered were much better.
