MultiPurpose Gaiters

The gaiters have really helped the scoot boots stay in place with no runs but they are beginning to come apart. I feel they are cheaply made a d do not with stand the demands of being in a horse’s hooves. I ride trails for pleasure and have not done any type of demanding riding that would cause this type of wear and tear. I wish these were made better.

We added these to our Therarides for additional support keeping boots on on our young horse. After just a few days of use, he not only got the boots off but tore and destroyed the Velcro on the gaiter. We’re pretty disappointed in the quality.

I was so excited when I saw the new multi-purpose gaiters! I have been using the mud straps with the trail gaiters for several years and just recently started endurance riding in rocky terrain and they just weren’t holding up and I had almost lost a boot a few times. As soon as I saw these gaiters I ordered them and have not been disappointed at all! They were so easy to put on and use. They do not slip or rub….and I haven’t lost a boot yet! Highly recommend them!

These are working great for my boots that had become too big after some trimming adjustments. The only change I would suggest is to lengthen the top Velcro heel strap that encloses the 2 shorter ones. It's not quite long enough to catch the hook and loop closure on both ends, so I fear that it will not work as intended for very long. So far, though, they are working great, and my boy seems very comfortable!
